How long does it take?
There are dedicated courses for family caregivers and the broader Swiss Red Cross care assistant course. Their scope and learning format differ. Two examples:
- Family carers · Red Cross Bern4 classroom days + 60 hours of self-study + 16 hours of coaching.
- Care assistants · Red Cross Zurich120 lessons + 15 days of practical training.
